Project Play emerged from our experience with the Smithsonian X3d and is a free* technology preview that enables you to make amazingly rich interactive 3D presentations on the web — without programming. It's an in-browser node-based editor, requires no download, and renders your work in real-time. You can combine 3D models, vector drawings, images, text files, videos, audio, and APIs that stream live from the web (i.e., Google Maps, Twitter, etc.). In Play, you can combine all these media types to create interactive experiences for mobile, desktop, and Virtual Reality.
* Free technology previews are subject to the terms and conditions of the end-user license and services agreement that accompanies the software.
